A pub in Northampton has reopened after a makeover.

The Trumpet in Wellingborough Road, owned by Greene King, has received a complete makeover introducing, according to the brewery, “a lighter colour scheme with some signature pieces of furniture and contemporary fixtures”.

General manager, Vicky Fisher, said: “Weston Favell is a fantastic location and The Trumpet is at the heart of this community. We are thrilled to be offering our regulars and new guests a fresh look at The Trumpet for them to socialise, eat freshly-prepared food and enjoy a drink.

“The opening was a real success with great feedback on the delicious new menu and the fantastic interiors. My team and I look forward to welcoming more guests in the coming weeks.”
