Northampton man who viewed indecent images of children and extreme porn given suspended jail sentence

Timothy Price, of Langley Close, Hunsbury Hill, Northampton, appeared at Northampton Crown Court after officers analysed three computers belonging to him and found images of child abuse.

The court heard Price had downloaded 71 images of the most serious category A, 84 category B and 159 category C as well as 41 extreme pornographic images portraying bestiality.

The images had been viewed during a period February 2013 to February 2015.

Recorder Martin Hurst sentenced Price to eight months in jail, suspended for two years. He must also complete 120 hours unpaid work and a 60-day rehabilitation requirement.

Recorder Hurst said: “This may seem an easy outcome for you but if you come back to court having done this again the only sentence will be imprisonment.”
