A logistics firm in Northampton is recruiting 200 people in packing and driving jobs in the next four weeks.

Dalepak, a supply chain management and warehousing specialist with depots in the town, has appointed Omega Resource Group to recruit the new roles.

“Over the last 12 months, we have experienced considerable growth in terms of business being awarded,” explains Michael Finn, joint managing director of Dalepak Limited.

“This has had an impact on our recruitment requirements, as we have had to react quickly to the demands of our customers.

“We chose Omega due to its specialist expertise in our sector, and its ability to recruit the types of people we needed in the warehousing and shop floor production areas and have been impressed with the calibre of incoming talent,” he added.

According to James Strickland, group director for Omega Resource Group, added: “As the economy continues to grow, we are increasingly finding organisations like Dalepak needing to find quick, efficient solutions to their recruitment needs as their own businesses boom.

“What we are able to offer is specialist recruitment in industrial sectors; sectors that in the UK are becoming harder to find good strong talent within. This is what Dalepak has bought into. We have a clear understanding around what we need to deliver, and fully expect to attract the very best talent within all of the positions Dalepak needs filling.

“We look forward to supporting the organisation on its continuing expansion plans well into the future.”
