A Northampton pub situated on the former British Timken site is set to create 70 jobs when it opens next year.
Building work is now underway to launch the Poppy Field Farm restaurant in Duston on the old Timken site, which will open its doors to the public in January 2017.
The former factory site, which manufactured roller bearings, is due to play host to the Farmhouse Inn brand, which operates under Greene King.
A Greene King spokesperson, said: “We are building a brand new Farmhouse Inn, which is expected to open in January 2017 and will bring around 70 full and part-time jobs to the local area.
“At Poppy Field Farm, guests can expect to enjoy a tasty carvery, fantastic homemade cakes and an extensive selection of great food and drink.”
