Michael McIntyre on Northampton stage
Some of the best comedians in the country are lined up to come to Royal & Derngate over the coming months, and tickets are selling fast.
Top names taking to the Derngate stage include Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon, Stephen K Amos and Jimmy Carr.
After tickets for Michael McIntyre's show at Royal & Derngate on July 31 rapidly sold out, the theatre has scheduled an additional performance by the comedian on Thursday, July 30.
Tickets are already on sale for a number of top comedians coming to Northampton this autumn, including uberminstrel Tim Minchin, who gets his piano back out on the road for his biting and brilliant new show, Ready for This, on Tuesday, October 27.
Julian Clary has done for mincing what Michael Flatley did for Irish dance, and he celebrates 25 years in the camp spotlight with his latest tour, which comes to Royal & Derngate on Wednesday, October 28. Comedian and actor Stephen K Amos performs his new solo stand-up show on Monday, November 16, followed closely by Irish comic Ed Byrne, star of BBC 2's Mock the Week, on Wednesday November 18.
Audiences can also see Rob Brydon when he comes to town with his stand-up show on Saturday, November 28.
