A drug dealer who supplied cocaine and cannabis in Northamptonshire has been jailed for six years and seven months.

Keaton Ahmed, aged 24, appeared at Northampton Crown Court for sentencing after he admitted a series of possession with intent to supply offences.

The court heard that Ahmed had continued to offend after he was bailed by police in September 2014 when more than £1,000 worth of cocaine was found in a car parked in The Severn in Daventry.

Ahmed also admitted charges of possessing a bladed article in a public place and actual bodily harm.

His Honour Judge Rupert Mayo sentenced Ahmed, of High Road, Tottenham, to a total sentence of six years and seven months.

He is likely to serve half in jail before being released on licence.
