Man robbed at knifepoint in Northampton street

A man was robbed at knifepoint in a Northampton street in the early hours of the morning.

The man was walking along Bants Lane in Duston at about 5.30am on Saturday, October 24, when he was approached by three white men.

The group surrounded him and one produced a knife. The man then handed over his mobile phone and wallet.

The robbers then ran way in the direction of King’s Heath.

The first man is described as about 25-years-old, 6ft and stocky with cropped blond hair. The victim described him as speaking in an eastern European accent and wearing a grey tracksuit.

The victim said the second man looked very similar and may have been his twin.

The third man was about 6ft and slim. He wore a dark coloured tracksuit.
