Man in hospital after Northamptonshire road rage incident

A man was taken to hospital with leg injuries after another road user drove towards him at speed in a road rage incident in Northamptonshire.

The incident happened at about 9am on Sunday, October 4, when two drivers had a dispute in Northampton Road in Rushden near Crown Way, close to the Waitrose store.

The victim got out of his car, at which point the offender drove towards him and hit him with his vehicle before making off in the direction of the A45.

The victim was then taken to Northampton General Hospital with leg injuries by ambulance.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
