Man from Northamptonshire village jailed for 15 years for string of domestic violence offences

A man who carried out a string of domestic violence offences has been jailed for 15 years and placed on the Sex Offender’ Register for life.

Dean Futter, 25, of Orchard Close, Orlingbury, has been sentenced to a total of 15 years’ imprisonment.

His sentence consisted of 12 years plus three years’ extended licence for sexual assault.

He was also sentenced to four years for threats to kill, 16 months for assault causing actual bodily harm, one year for perverting the course of justice and three years for wounding and inflicting grievous bodily harm, which are to run concurrently.

He was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on November 30.
