Man charged with robbery in Northampton after weekend supermarket raid
A man has been charged with robbery after he held up a Co-op store in Northampton.
Michael Baker, 36 of Far Meadow Court has been charged with raiding the supermarket of Field Mill Road of Bellinge at around 9am on Saturday morning (January 21).
Baker is also alleged to have attempted to hold up the Little Billing convenience store in Valley Road at around 9.15am before being arrested later that day.
He is due to appear at Northampton Magistrates' Court today.
