Man accused of ‘maliciously wounding’ woman in Northamptonshire hospital car park

A man has appeared in front of magistrates in Northampton today charged with wounding a woman in a hospital car park with a Stanley knife.

Steven Argo, 37, Huntingdon Gardens, Market Harborough is alleged to have ‘unlawfully and maliciously wounded’ a woman in the Rothwell Road car park of Kettering General hospital on March 27.

He is also alleged to have carried out two robberies the day before, stealing £300 and £100 from two separate victims.

He has been charged with being in possession of a bladed article in the car park of the hospital.

Argo was remanded in custody to appear before Northampton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Friday, April 18. He is due to appear on that occasion via video link.
