Man, 29, arrested after 'firearms incident' in Northampton town centre
A 29-year-old man has been arrested for firearms-related offences following an incident in Northampton town centre on Saturday.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said officers were called to Gold Street at 2pm to help East Midlands Ambulance Service.
"The man was detained and the incident safely resolved with no injuries to anyone," the spokesman said.
