Youngsters slam dunk it
These young hotshots from Northampton have been hitting the target in a mini-basketball festival involving about a dozen primary schools.
More than 100 pupils joined the week-long event, which was hosted at Duston and Weston Favell schools and organised by the Northampton School Sports Partnership.
Among the schools taking part were children from Barry, Castle, Chiltern, Delapre, Duston, Eldean and Kings Heath Primary School.
Martin Spencer, school sports co-ordinator for the Weston Favell family of schools, said: "In true mini-basketball tradition the emphasis was on participation, fun and fair play."
