A 43-year old woman suffered head injuries and was airlifted to hospital on Saturday after falling from her horse.
The incident happened at a farm near Towcester at about 12.25pm.
A spokesman for the Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) said: “On arrival, the patient was in a state of confusion and complaining of nausea.
“She was given anti-sickness medication and immobilised before being flown to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire for further treatment.
“Her condition en route and on handover were stable.”
