Witness appeal after man is injured during bus crash in Long Buckby

A pedestrian was injured during a collision with a bus in Long Buckby yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a collision in Station Road, Long Buckby..

The collision happened at about 2.30pm, when a bus, driven by a 62-year-old man from Bedworth, Warwickshire, was in collision with a man working in the road.

The 54-year-old man from Northampton was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry with head and leg injuries.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone who has any information, is asked to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101 or call the Drivewatch Hotline on 0800 174615.
