Visitors explore 1,000 years of Northamptonshire
Visitors to a Northamptonshire manor house can take a trip through 1,000 years of the county's history this weekend, to celebrate 25 years of it being open to the public.
Canons Ashby, near Daventry, will host a packed weekend of events and displays, including an encampment of Norman knights and displays of medieval archery.
Visitors can learn Tudor games and dances, the process of making a longbow and the art of Victorian napkin folding.
Step Back in Time will run from 11am until 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Normal admission charges apply.
