Victim of Northamptonshire car accident named by police

The woman who died in a car crash near Yardley Hastings last weekend has been named as 40-year-old Tracey Halls.

Mrs Halls, from Two Mile Ash, Milton Keynes, was a passenger in a silver Vauxhall Astra, which was in collision with red Mercedes 300SL on the B5388 Yardley Hastings to Olney Road, just after 1pm on Saturday, December 21. She died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Astra, a 28-year-old man from Milton Keynes and the driver of the Mercedes, a 65-year-old man from Olney, were airlifted to University Hospital Coventry where they remain with serious injuries.
