A topping-out ceremony will be held at Northampton’s new bus station next week.
The ceremony, where the last beam is placed at the top of the building, will being held at the former Fishmarket site on Tuesday.
The £7 million new bus station is expected to open in spring 2014 and is funded by Northampton Borough Council, the West Northamptonshire Development Corporation and Northamptonshire County Council.
It will also allow the old Greyfriars bus station to be demolished.
The new bus interchange will occupy the site bordered by Greyfriars, Sheep Street, Bradshaw Street and Silver Street.
