Teen aiming to be Page 3 idol
A teenager is appealing to Northamptonshire residents to vote for her to be crowned Page 3 Idol 2009.
Kelly Hall, aged 18, of Ashby Fields, Daventry, has beaten off competition from thousands of other aspiring topless models to make it through to the final 20 of the annual competition.
The former William Parker School pupil appeared in The Sun on Monday and is hoping to win the ultimate prize of a cheque for 5,000 and a year's contract with the national newspaper.
Miss Hall, who is currently working as a beautician at the Beauty Stop in Daventry, said: "I like Page 3 because it is not tacky like some of the magazines are.
"I could not even begin to describe how I would feel if I won.
"The photo shoot was amazing and it was really surreal being surrounded by all the other Page 3 girls.
"I would like to appeal to all the people in Northamptonshire to vote for me to win the competition."
The 18-year-old made her first progress in the competition during a night out at Lava & Ignite in Northampton, when she was chosen ahead of 12 other girls who were dressed in bikinis.
Miss Hall, who has previously been voted Miss Teen Queen UK, is hoping to follow in the footsteps of her idol Keeley Hazell and enjoy a lucrative modelling career.
