Smoke at town pharmacy a false alarm
Emergency services were called to the Kingsthorpe branch of Boots tonight when a security alarm was activated, sending clouds of smoke throughout the building.
The device - known as a 'smoke cloak' - was activated shortly after 6pm. Police attended but the fire service were not needed.
