Real bobby dazzlers at school
Youngsters at Collingtree Primary School met the long arm of the law when two officers dropped in to the playground to show the children around their police car.
Pupils in the reception class and year one were given a talk by PCSO Debbi Davies and Pc Kev Smith as part of their studies.
Headteacher Peter Spong said: "It is something we have done regularly over the years and is a great way for the kids to meet the local officers and understand what is involved in their job. Part of their project is about people who help us, so we regularly get police officers, firemen and paramedics in to give talks and demonstrations.
"Some of the children dressed up as police officers and they really enjoyed having a look around the car."
