Police name boy killed in bike tragedy
Police have named a 12-year-old boy who died following a road accident while cycling in Northamptonshire.
Connor Roche, of Eastfield Crescent, Finedon, was one of a small group of children cycling along the A6 just before the Finedon Road junction in Irthlingborough.
He collided with a passing Land Rover.
He sustained serious head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision at about 8pm yesterday, or the cyclist or the Landrover immediately before it, to contact them on 03000 111 222.
