Police have confirmed that a person has died following a collision involving two vehicles near Stoke Bruerne last night (Monday).
Emergency services were called to the A508 near Stoke Bruerne at around 7.40pm.
A silver Ford Puma, driven by a 22-year-old woman from Brackley, was travelling south on the A508 when it was in collision with a grey Ford Fusion, driven by a 33-year-old woman from Derby, which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The collision happened on a bend just south of Stoke Bruerne.
One of the cars rolled and landed in a field following the crash. Police closed the road at around 8pm.
A 21-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Ford Puma, died at the scene. The driver of the Puma was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry.
