Staff at a paper merchants with head offices in Brackley and Moulton face an uncertain future after the company announced 75 jobs are likely to go in a ‘restructuring’ process.
PaperlinX, which comprises of three companies, Robert Horne Group Ltd, Howard Smith Paper Group Ltd and The Paper Company Ltd, have informed staff it is to enter into a three-month consultation process with employees about cutting its workforce.
Its head office is based at Mansion Close in Moulton Park and the Howard Smith Paper group is based at Rhosili Road, Brackmills.
A spokesperson for the firm said: “Paperlinx have announced a restructuring programme which could result in up to 75 job losses.
“The potential losses are across the three companies and also across the operations throughout the UK and Ireland.
“In light of the number of potential job losses the company has commenced a consultation process with employee representatives.”
In January the firm announced it would likely close UK delivery offices in Nottingham, Sheffield and Leeds.
