Paedophile to be assessed by psychiatrist
A paedophile who preyed on both young girls and boys over an eight-year period will be sentenced once he has been assessed by a psychiatrist.
Jamie Deleslie, aged 35, of The Headlands, Northampton faced 23 allegations of child sex abuse.
However, he was brought to Northampton Crown Court from custody yesterday and pleaded guilty to nine offences of sexual assault, sexual activity with a child, rape, indecent assaults an gross indecency committed between 2000 and 2007.
Sentencing was adjourned for reports.
