Nude calendar helps Katie-Ann raise £4,500 for charity

The daughter of Northamptonshire cricket legend Allan Lamb has helped raise £4,500 for Breast Cancer UK after starring in a nude calendar.

Katie-Ann Lamb, aged 22, presented the cheque from the proceeds to the charity's representative Carol Bennett after starting a company to produce the saucy calender with university pals.

She had the idea after the wife of Australian cricketer Glenn McGrath, who was a friend, died after having breast cancer and then another friend's grandmother was also diagnosed with the disease.

Miss Lamb, who is at university in Newcastle but grew up in Northamptonshire, said: "It wasn't some smutty shoot but something really tasteful we were doing together so none of us felt isolated while doing it.

"It's fantastic to raise such a lot of money and we are very grateful for all the support we have been given."

Miss Lamb is pictured with founders of the Blush company Kathryn Fielding, Charlie van Straubenzee, Harry Fife and Alexander Short.
