AnotherWorld Festival has become the second major Northamptonshire music event to be cancelled in the space of a week - due to what organisers have described as ‘unforseen circumstances’.

The event, set for this weekend at Silverstone Woodlands, was due to see headliners Snoop Dogg and Wretch 32 perform.

But the event organisers have made an announcement via the festvals official Facebook page stating: “It is with great sadness and regret we announce the cancellation of the AnotherWorld Festival 2014.”

It goes on to say: “Due to unforeseen circumstances the event will no longer be taking place this weekend at Silverstone Woodlands.

“We are working hard to replace this event with others very soon within the coming weeks and hope you will check back here on Wednesday at 4pm to hear our exciting new plans.”

Organisers say tickets, which cost £79 for the weekend or £49.50 for the day, can be refunded in full ‘by contacting your ticket agent’.

All those that bought a weekend ticket will also receive a ‘Founders Pack’, which includes a set of AW headphones and aviator sunglasses.

Anyone with any queries should contact the organisers on customerservices@anotherworldfestival.com.
