Northampton's Tom branded 'a loser' by Big Brother host

Big Brother host Davina McCall has branded Northampton housemate "a loser" after he walked out of the show.

Big Brother contestant Tom Oliver left the reality show just over a week after entering the house.

The 27-year-old chartered surveyor from Northampton left the house on Sunday morning after saying he did not want to be "part of a circus" any longer.

Earlier in the day, he told Big Brother he was bored and that there was no one in the house he wanted to talk to.

He is the second contestant to walk out of the show within three days after Kenneth Tong left on Thursday.

In the diary room, Oliver told Big Brother: "People are in here for massively the wrong reasons. Most of the people in here are deluded - they think they're going to come out of here like some sort of rock star.

"I could stay here and waste a few weeks, but I've got really no desire to do that. There's no one in here on my wavelength."

He added: "I feel like a puppet on a string drawn to a level of intelligence I don't find interesting."

Davina McCall, writing on her Twitter account, said: "I'm annoyed. Tom was quite a funny housemate... good observations... but leavers are losers... it really annoys me."
