New police appeal over man missing for three years
Police have today re-appealed for information about keen cyclist Jeremy Ricketts, who has been missing from his Northampton home for more than three years.
Mr Ricketts, aged 57, also known as Jerry, was last seen by his landlord at his Semilong Road offices in the town on July 20, 2005 after paying his rent.
"There is no suggestion that any harm has come to Mr Ricketts but he has been the subject of a missing persons inquiry since July 2005 and we would like to know that he is safe and well," said a police spokesman.
Mr Ricketts is described as white, about 5ft 3ins tall, and of a slim build with light brown or grey hair, which is shaved. He wears glasses and has a prominent earlobe ring in his left ear.
He is a keen cyclist who has been known to cycle long distances in the past and may be riding a yellow Raleigh Max mountain bike.
Officers are urging Mr Ricketts to get in touch with the police or family/friends to let them know he is safe and well.
