New Dr Who's sister is a Take That dancer

The sister of new Dr Who Matt Smith is a dancer who has helped pop supergroup Take That wow sold-out crowds around the world.

Former Northampton School for Boys head boy Matt has been unveiled as the 11th Time Lord.

And sister Laura Jayne has been making a big success of her career as a dancer, with the former Moulton School pupil enjoying life in front of hundreds of thousands of music fans with Take That.

Laura Jayne was one of eight dancers on the band's European tour of 20 countries following their reunion.

She said at the time: "It was an amazing experience. Take That are such lovely boys.

"Now that they are back on top, they are so appreciative and they are loving every minute of it.

"I flew on a private plane with the band; they really looked after us."

Laura Jayne also in starred in the 2004 Eric Prydz video for No.1 single Call On Me and has danced for Westlife, Blue, Craig David and Rachel Stevens.

She is a director her own dance company, The Girly Show.
