On Friday 25 July, Northampton Borough Council in partnership with St Crispin’s Parish Council, is set to unveil a brand new play area in St Crispin’s Park.

The £45,000 community play area has been funded through agreements made with the developers of the St Crispin’s development.

Featuring equipment for ages 3+ there are different swings, slides and a mix of traditional and modern play equipment to excite young minds.

Councillor Mike Hallam, Northampton Borough Council’s cabinet member for environment said: “Parks and play areas are an important part of helping to create a community, as well as providing a safe and interesting area for the next generation to enjoy.

“St Crispin’s Park is quickly becoming a real asset to local people as a place to play and relax. The new play area is another exciting addition that will give families a place to enjoy.”

St Crispin’s Park and its new play area is located off St Crispin’s Drive.
