A teenager from Northampton reported missing earlier on Thursday has been found safe and well, Northamptonshire Police have confirmed.
Police launched an appeal for 13-year-old Jamyl Janneh on Thursday after he was last seen the previous morning at his home in Chalcombe Avenue, Kingsthorpe.
He had been due to attend Moulton School but failed to arrive.
Speaking at the time of the appeal, Detective Inspector Ally White said: “We are concerned for Jamyl’s safety and would urge anyone who thinks they may have seen him, particularly in the Kingsthorpe or Moulton area, to contact us as soon as possible.”
