A 52-year-old man was airlifted to hospital after a car crash in Northamptonshire.
The accident happened on Saturday afternoon near Crick, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance reported this morning.
A spokesman said: “The air ambulance was called at 3.04pm and landed at the scene 12 minutes later.
“On the crew’s arrival, the patient was still in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“The patient was assessed for potential chest and abdominal injuries. He was given intravenous treatment at the scene before being immobilised with a collar and placed on a scoop stretcher.
“He was then airlifted to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire for further treatment. His condition remained stable throughout the flight,” he added.
