One of the busiest roads in Northampton will be closed so resurfacing work can be carried out on three Sundays in September.
Wellingborough Road will be closed between 8am and 6pm on September 8, 15 and 29.
The road will not be closed on Sunday, September 22 because of the high level of traffic expected at the Madness concert at the county cricket ground.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire County Council said: “The resurfacing will take place on the route between Wilby Street and St Edmunds Street, with work restricted to Sundays when levels of traffic are at their lowest.”
The council has also warned people not to park in the area when the work is being carried out.
