Radio host Jo Whiley got wet and muddy at a race in Silverstone.
The popular Northampton-born presenter took part in the Rock Solid Race that saw her tackle 46 military-style man-made obstacles including a chilly water-based one, pictured.
Rob Foulkes from muddyrace.co.uk said long-distance obstacle races are attracting a host of celebrities.
He said: “Obstacle races are becoming increasingly popular now and this year we have seen over 100 per cent growth in participants, and expect more than 200,000 people to get involved this year.
“Celebrities such as Jo, Katie Price, Steve Cram, Iwan Thomas and most recently Ronan Keating at Tough Mudder in Australia are all having a go.”
