Top comedian and actor, James Corden, is set to host a fund-raising dinner for a charity set up by a former England rugby player, who dislocated his neck during a scrummage practice session at Franklin’s Gardens in Northampton in 2005.

The Get Busy Living dinner will be held at The Brewery, in London, on Wednesday, October 15, to raise money for The Matt Hampson Foundation.

Adam Hancock, one of the organisers, said many of the guests would be from the construction industry and, as well as raising money, it was hoped that building expertise could be pooled together to help Mr Hampson achieve his dream of setting up a rehabilitation centre, which could be on the Northamptonshire/ Leicestershire border.

The evening will also include an auction with a number of top prizes donated by sports stars.
