A young footballer was airlifted to hospital after suffering a head injury during a game.
The 12-year-old, who is believed to be from Birmingham, was injured during a match in Middleton Cheney on Saturday, December 7, at about 11am.
A spokesman for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance said: “He was initially assessed and treated by an off-duty emergency care practitioner, who requested the attendance of the air ambulance to safely transport the patient to hospital.
“On arrival, the patient was still in a state of confusion. He was given pain relief and flown to Birmingham Children’s Hospital for further treatment.”
