Experts look at ancient objects
Residents in Northampton who think they may have found an ancient object will be able to have it checked by experts this month.
Northamptonshire County Council is running two finds surgeries with the Portable Antiquities Scheme, where people will be able to discover more about their find and, through having it recorded, take an active part in the preservation of heritage.
The surgeries will be held at Kettering Manor House Museum on April 8 from 2pm to 4pm and at Northampton Central Museum on April 16 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
