Police have uncovered a cannabis factory in a street in Moulton.

Oficers executed a drugs warrant at a property in Cottingham Drive, yesterday afternoon following a tip-off from a member of the public.

A “significant” amount of cannabis paraphernalia was discovered in the property, which was seized alongside a small amount of cannabis.

Pc Mark Edkins, said: “This warrant is a result of community intelligence and we encourage others to provide information so that we can act upon it.

“This is a fine example of the police and public working together to provide a safer environment for the entire community.”

Two men, aged 22 and 23, are helping police officers with their inquiries.

Anyone with information can contact the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
