Drinker banned from being drunk
A persistent alcohol abuser described by a magistrate as having a "horrendous" record of breaching an anti social behaviour order banning him from being drunk in a public place, has been jailed for 21 weeks.
Alex Wilson, aged 51, of Overslade Close, Merefield, Northampton, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court yesterday after he pleaded guilty to having alcohol in a public place on August 20 and twice on July 30 despite being banned from doing this by an ASBO imposed on December 31, 2008.
