A driver was “lucky” to walk away from a crash which saw a car collide with a lamppost.
Emergency services were called to the A45000 near junction 16 of the M1 near the Kislingbury roundabout earlier this morning (Thursday) following a crash.
Officers said a car had gone across the junction onto the dual carriageway into the path of an oncoming van.
The car collided with a lamppost.
PC Dave Lee from the Roads Policing Unit at Northamptonshire Police, said: “One very poorly Corsa at this collision on the A4500. One very lucky driver to walk away from it.”
One lane was closed during the incident but officers have advised it has since reopened.
PC Lee added: “May have to close again to assist with getting the lamppost down.”
