BREAKING NEWS: Busy road in Northampton closed due to a serious accident
A motorcyclist has been in collision with a car on a busy road near Northampton General Hospital this afternoon.
Police have closed Billing Road in Northampton between the York Road junction and Cyril Street.
Northamptonshire Police confirmed they were called out at around 3.30pm to the scene where there has been serious accident involving a car and a motorbike.
One man has been injured, according to police.
Officers believe the road will be closed for another hour. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
