Irish pop quartet Boyzone will headline the Sunday night of this year’s Alive At Delapre festival which will return to Northampton in July.
The boy band will headline the closing night of the festival as part of their 20th anniversary tour.
Boyzone comprises of Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating, and Shane Lynch.
They are well known for hits including When The Going Gets Tough, All That I Need and No Matter What.
They have racked up six UK number one singles, five number one albums and sold more than 25 million records sold worldwide.
After going their separate ways in 1999 and taking a seven year hiatus, Boyzone decided to reunite in 2007 and returned to the stage for a comeback tour.
This year, fans of different generations will join the group in celebrating 20 years since Boyzone first began with the launch of their latest album, BZ20.
Boyzone are the first act announced for this year’s Alive At Delapre concert series, which takes place from Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20.
Councillor David Mackintosh, leader of Northampton Borough Council, said: “We’re delighted to announce Boyzone as the first act for Alive at Delapre.
“It’s amazing to have the band at Delapre and we hope fans old and new will join us to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary in these fantastic parkland surroundings.
“Last year, Alive at Delapre helped put Northampton on the map, with thousands of people travelling from near and far for three days of top quality entertainment.
“And we’re sure that this year’s acts will not disappoint, providing the same level of quality music for all to enjoy.”
Tickets will cost £36.50 (plus booking fee) and will go on sale on Friday, 24 January at 9am.

The other two acts to accompany Boyzone at Alive at Delapre will be announced later this year.
