Boxloads of early-learning toys stolen

About 400 boxes of early learning toys were stolen from the back of a lorry in Northamptonshire.

The toys were loaded on to a 7.5-tonne lorry which had been driven to the scene in East Danes Way, Crick.

Two robbers fled after being disturbed by a passing HGV driver. The theft took place shortly before 2am on Friday morning.

The first offender was of average height and wore a dark hooded top with white trainers. He was the driver.

The second was also white, about the same height, of slim build with short dark brown hair. He wore a black T-shirt with white writing on the front and dark jeans.
