A missing persons appeal has been launched by Northamptonshire Police after the disappearance of a 17-year-old Northampton girl.

Ingrida Einikyte was last seen in July in Northampton and may be living elsewhere in the county, a force spokesperson said today.

She is of Lithuanian descent but is thought to have a reasonable grasp of English. She is 5ft 8inches tall, slim with long black hair and brown eyes.

DI Ali Farr, leading the investigation to find her, said: “We would like to urge Ingrida to make contact with Northants police as soon as possible, so her welfare and safety can be confirmed, or if anyone who has knowledge of her whereabouts or any information that could assist, please contact the force control room on 101.”
