Advice for firms on cash crisis
An insolvency conference featuring a motor racing boss will take place at The University of Northampton on Tuesday.
The event will feature a presentation from Silverstone Circuits Ltd director of finance, Ed Brookes, who will speak about finance in the motor sport industry generally and the issues now facing Silverstone.
Anthony Sharp, chair of the central region and member of council of The Civil Court Users Association will also give a talk entitled 'To what extent have insolvency solutions in the consumer sector become the soft option - encouraging the "no need to pay" culture?'
Finally, Tim Wilkinson of Bibby Construction Finance will speak about the early green shoots now being spotted in the construction world and discuss what finance is available to help this part of the economy flourish.
The presentations will be chaired by Christopher Cook of The University of Northampton and Malcolm Dunn, The Official Receiver.
Entry costs 10 per person including refreshments and any profits arising from the event will be given to Northamptonshire Carers
