Northamptonshire Fire Service and Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were called out to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the A43 Lumbertubs Way earlier this morning.
Northamptonshire police were called to the scene at 8.45am and closed the road near St. Gregory’s roundabout. The road was re-opened at 9.10am.
The fire service have reported that the pedestrian was knocked over and, after being sat down in a car for comfort, began experiencing back pain and so the roof of the car has had to be removed.
However, the pedestrian’s injuries were not deemed to be serious and they were taken by land ambulance to Northampton General Hospital.
