Thousands of people from across the country attended History Live!, Europe’s largest living history event, held in the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall
This 2014 festival, held on Saturday and Sunday, featured more than 2,000 re-enactors and performers taking part battle reenactment and, displays,.
Visitors could also walk through living encampments from Roman times to the Second World War and watch jousting displays.
For children, there was a Victorian Fair, cave painting, the chance to become a knight for the day and ride in a hobby horse joust.
There was also live music, food stalls, a real ale bar and an historic market.
