A number of cars were broken into outside a hotel on Tuesday night.

The thefts happened overnight on Tuesday October 6 into Wednesday October 7, when thieves smashed the windows of five vehicles parked in the car park of the Daventry Court Hotel, off Sedgemoor Way in Daventry.

Various items were stolen, including a laptop, sat nav and cash.

Officers are asking anyone who was in the area on Tuesday evening or the early hours of Wednesday, and who may have seen anything suspicious around the hotel or on the neighbouring Lang Farm estate, to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.

Alternatively, they can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or use the anonymous online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
