Former Newcastle United and England boss Kevin Keegan is to hold a talk at a Northampton casino next month.
On Thursday 27 March, Aspers Casino in Corporation Street is set to host an evening of entertainment with Keegan.
He will open the evening with a talk about his England, Liverpool, SV Hamburg and Newcastle career, followed by a three-course dinner and a photo with the man himself.
Guests will also be able to ask ‘Special K’ questions about his career in a question and answer session to close the evening.
As a manager, ‘Mighty Mouse’ went on to manage Newcastle United twice, Fulham and Manchester City, winning promotion as champions in his first full season at all three clubs.
He was double European Player of the Year, in 1978 and 1979, won two UEFA Cups, three league titles, a European and FA Cup and scored 100 goals.
Keegan retired from playing on the field in 1984 having been capped 63 times England.
He went on to become England manager in February 1999 before later resigning in the wake of his county’s last-ever match at the old-style Wembley stadium, a defeat to Germany.
